Matthew 11:28-30 tells us “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Prayer does not have to be eloquent, long, or dramatic… It only has to be pure; honest and true, authentic… from a place deep in your heart.
God meets us where we are.
In prayer, in praise, in proclamation when we open our hearts to Him; we truly connect with Him and His Holy Spirit begins to work in our lives; His good and perfect will.
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. -Colossians 3:12-15
Proclaim: I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me. Pray: Lord, I rejoice in You always, let me be anxious for nothing, guard my heart and my mind through Christ Jesus and give me strength. Praise: Lord, Your peace surpasses all understanding. You alone are worthy, You alone are holy, I praise Your awesome and mighty name.
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things. -Philippians 4:8
Everlasting love
may the lord bless you and keep you, May the lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
Thus says the Lord: “Keep justice, and do righteousness, for My salvation is about to come, and My righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold on it; who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.” Isaiah 56: 1-2
"Also, today the Lord has proclaimed you to be His special people, just as He promised you, that you should keep all His commandments, and that He will set you high above all nations which He has made, in praise, in name, and in honor, and that you may be a holy people to the Lord your God, just as He has spoken." -Deuteronomy 26:18-19
"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that ALL should come to repentance." -2 Peter 3:19
It is His hope that ALL should return to Him; return to the Lord today; with your whole heart and He will make all your paths straight.
