“Again proclaim, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts’: “My cities shall again spread out through prosperity; The Lord will again comfort Zion, and will again choose Jerusalem.””
The Lord will comfort you – you need no special skill to be loved by God. There is no minimum requirement, and I have learned that in most cases, it is when you are down to nothing that He does His best work. To find God when you have something is ideal, but when you have nothing and have gone as far as you can by yourself, there is a certain desperation that God responds to. When your heart is broken, and you have a contrite (remorseful) heart; God moves. Psalm 51:17 tells us “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart – these, O God, You will not despise.”
Heavenly Father,
Let, I pray Your merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to Your word to Your servant. Let Your tender mercies come to me, that I may live; for Your law is my delight. Revive me according to Your lovingkindess, so that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth. I shall restrain my feet from every evil way, that I may keep Your word. You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word. I make haste and do not delay to keep Your commandments. I cry out with my whole heart; hear me O, Lord! I will keep Your statutes. I cry out to You; save me, and I will keep your testimonies. Restore me to the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
In the Holy and precious name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
The devil and his demon’s main priority is to keep you from experiencing the fullness of God’s promises to you, and they will do it in any way they can. Do not allow yourself to be deceived. Do not allow yourself to be separated from the love of God. His love for you is everlasting and His only focus is YOU and YOUR SALVATION. Open your bible today and reach out to Him. Perhaps, spending the first part of your day with Him, will reframe your entire day. His mercies are new every morning, what happened yesterday is already in the past… Repent, and move forward in His fresh mercies.
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May He lift His countenance upon you and give you peace. This is my prayer for you, and your entire family. Today… Look up and ask Him anything – He cannot wait to hear from AND respond to you.
