“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105

You need only to take the next step. You do not need to know where it is going to lead. You only need to trust in God. Trust in God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength. Just as you love Him; trust Him. Despite the fact that since you were 5 years old, you have been asked what you want to be when you grow up. Forget trying to map out your entire future. Abide in God; He shall preserve you from all evil. He shall preserve your soul. Give God room to work; let His Holy Spirit move you and guide you in the way you should go, and as you do; He will give you the understanding you so desperately seek.

Verse 104 of Psalm 119 tells us that through His precepts we get understanding. Make Him your hiding place and your shield AND hope only in His word. He will never let you be ashamed of your hope in Him. Never.

Heavenly Father,

You are Lord of Lords and King of Kings. You are God above every other God and I exalt Your holy name. Lord, You are my King and I am your humble servant; and I serve you with all the joy and all the gladness of my heart. Redeem me from the oppression of man, that I may keep Your precepts. Make Your face shine upon Your servant and teach me Your statues. I cry out to you with my whole heart, hear me, O lord, I will keep Your statutes. Deliver me from trouble and anguish and fill me with Your understanding, send me Your Holy Spirit to lead me, to guide me, and to comfort me as I learn to walk in the light Lord. Look upon me and be merciful to me, as Your custom is toward those who love Your name; I love Your name Lord. Thank you Father, thank you.

In the holy and precious name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Proclaim: Lord, I hope for Your salvation, and I do Your commandments. My soul keeps Your testimonies, and I love them exceedingly. I keep Your precepts and Your testimonies, for all my ways are before You. I long for Your salvation, O Lord, and Your law is my delight. Let my soul live, and it shall praise You.

And then… praise Him. Lift up your heart and your hands to God in heaven and praise Him and thank Him for all that He is doing in your life; His work is amazing.

May His Word be a light to your path and a lamp to your feet, as you lean in closer to Him. May His face shine upon you. May you delight in the Lord all the day, and may He give you all the desires of your heart.
