A place of prayer

We are all in this together.

The truth about deceit…

“And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name saying, ‘I am the Christ, and will deceive many.’” Matthew 24:4-5

The worst thing about being deceived is in turn you will ultimately deceive others.

Indeed; when we are deceived; we become deceivers ourselves. That is a path long and winding which takes us nowhere fast; and that…. is exactly where Satan would have us be… going nowhere fast. Caught up in confusion, anxiety, and spiraling out of control. For when we are focused on the crippling anxiety, feeling angry, reveling in bitterness, lost in self-pity, paralyzed in FEAR; we cannot focus on the goodness of God. We are oblivious to the solution; rather focused on the problem; it truly is a trap and is known as a snare. Satan’s main goal is to snare us, to hold us down; to keep us back from God’s good and perfect plan for our life. Satan watches every move we make and listens to every word we say and goes back to God and twists and manipulates it in his own evil way. (Read Job 1:6-12)

The deliverance we so desperately seek is as close as Jesus is; but we must acknowledge it and ask for it. Our words are incredibly important. It is written in Revelation 12:11: “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

They = US; you and me. We overcome Satan by the word of our testimony; speak life today. Speak God’s word into every situation you find yourself in and you will feel the bitterness melt away. With that, say goodbye to anxiety, fear, self-pity and anger, because He will fill you with His Spirit of truth; His Holy Spirit, and there will be no room left for the evil the devil tries to throw your way.

Heavenly Father,

You are a God of peace and truth, and I seek Your peace, I seek Your truth. Please deliver me from the evil one and his evil spirits; deliver me from the spirits of deception, anxiety, fear, and from anger, in the name of Jesus. Father, fill me with Your righteousness, Your peace, and Your joy in the Holy Spirit. Give to me Your Spirit of truth. I rebuke and I renounce Satan and his demons and I repent for allowing myself to be deceived. I repent for deceiving others while being deceived. Forgive me Father, pardon my transgressions and blot out my iniquity. I come to you with joy by Your will and ask to be refreshed together with You.

In the holy and precious name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Proclaim: The God of peace Himself sanctifies me completely; my whole spirit, soul, and body shall be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls me is faithful and will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

May it be exactly as you pray and proclaim.
