A place of prayer

We are all in this together.

Pray always..

“May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers. May He not leave us or forsake us, that He may incline our hearts to Himself, to walk in all His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, which He commanded our fathers.” 1 Kings 8:58

Prayer is the most powerful weapon on earth. The seventh piece of armor, yet it is the most underutilized tool and overlooked weapon. Such things are beyond my understanding but I can testify that it is prayer that changes a life. Whether it’s 3 words (Help me Jesus) or 3 pages; He moves all the same.

The NKJV references the word pray or some sort of variation of the word pray approximately 394 times according to Bible Gateway. There is a common misconception that the bible tells us to fear not as many times as there are days in the year; which is not true. What they should have said is pray. Pray. Pray every single day; pray. More than once but at least once.

Once you open the lines of communication with God, your life will begin to change in such a way that you will soon find yourself praying about everything. Praying about everything is biblical; It is written in Philippians 4:6 to “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” The day you begin and end with prayer, you will notice that fear no longer has a hold on you, knowing God is already there, and He has worked out your fears. You will find that you are no longer afraid, but confident that He has indeed heard your prayer and supplication and He is moving in your life in awesome ways. That is our God; an Awesome God. A Mighty God. A Wonderful Counselor an Everlasting Father. He loves you and it is His will to hear from you often. About everything. Just as it was with Moses and David, you will find that you may just change His mind, just as they did. You will not only save your life; but the lives of your entire family. Your prayer is so powerful. Pray more and pray often.

Heavenly Father,

Your joy is my strength and I come to You today with Your full armor that I may be able to stand against all the wiles of the devil. I gird my waist with truth, and put on the breastplate of righteousness. I shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; and above all, I take the shield of FAITH which quenches every fiery dart of the wicked one. I take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is Your word, and I am protected by Your perfect peace. Father, teach me how to pray constantly with all prayer and supplication, as I learn to rely solely on You. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path and I stand boldly this day in prayer and seek Your kingdom. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Proclaim Ephesians 6:18: I pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit. I am watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.

May you know and acknowledge that the Lord is God and there is no other. May your heart therefore be loyal to the Lord our God, and may you walk in His statutes; keeping His commandments, this day forth and forevermore. May you pray and speak boldly just as you ought to pray and speak.
