Thus says the Lord: “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls.

Jeremiah 6:16 NKJV

Choose obedience over perfection. Choose right over wrong. Choose love over hate and forgiveness over bitterness. Choose life. God alone redeems and restores, and His word is a lamp to your feet; a light to your path. Choose His word over any other word, and He will honor you as You honor Him.

Heavenly Father,

I exalt You Lord, I lift Your name on high and I stand in Your way and I see. I ask for the old path, where the good way is, and I walk in it. Lord, You alone blot out my transgressions, not for my sake, but for Your own sake and when You forgive, You do not remember my sin. Although I burdened You with my sin and wearied You with my iniquity, You have forgiven me and I thank You for Your good and perfect way. Lord, lead me away from that which is of Satan and do not allow me to go outside of Your will for my life. Pour out Your Spirit on me and my descendants and bless me and my house Lord. Bless my house that we may continue before You forever; for Your honor. For Your glory. I lift my eyes to You Lord, and I hear Your voice and obey. You are Alpha and Omega; You are First and the Last and I declare that I am Yours. I give You total dominion of every area of my life, and my body; from the top of my head to the ‘soles’ of my feet, I am Yours Lord. My mind is Yours. My heart is Yours. My spirit is Yours. My soul is Yours. My hands and my feet, my eyes and my ears, my mouth and my nose is Yours, protect me and keep me in perfect peace as I seek Your kingdom. In the glorious and precious name of Jesus, I pray; Amen.

Proclaim: I hear the voice of the Lord; and I obey. Satan has no dominion over me. I stand in the way and I see, I ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and I walk in it. I shall find rest for my soul.

Blessing: May you be strong and courageous and may the power of God shine through you. May you put God first in your life and give Him total dominion over every relationship, every deed, and every thought. May the love of God bless you as you seek His kingdom and may you walk in His good and perfect will for your life.
