A place of prayer

We are all in this together.

Breaking curses…

“As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.”
1 Chronicles 28:9 NKJV

You will be found by God if you serve HIM with a loyal heart and a willing mind.

God will redeem you if you serve HIM with a loyal heart and a willing mind.

One of the curses we learn about in the Bible is the curse of trusting in man; in making flesh our strength; viewed by God as us turning our heart from Him. Leaving us hopeless and doubtful, unable to see… living a meaningless life with no understanding of the blessings of His love.

With God; everything is meaningful. There is nothing you hear, nor anything that you see that does not mean something.  Everything is meaningful with God. Indeed; everything means something with God.

Jeremiah 17:5a-6 tells us, “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord. For He shall be like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see when good comes, but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land which is uninhabited.”

He goes on to tell us in verse 7, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is in the Lord.”

The results of a curse profoundly impacts your ability to experience the fullness of life. Curses separate us from God, causing consistent and constant hardship, lack, isolation and can even cause death. Nothing good can come from a curse.

You have the power to break the curse of misplacing trust over your life. Firstly; serve HIM with a loyal heart and a willing mind. Secondly; take accountability and repent. Lastly; pray to break the curse.

Heavenly Father,

Gracious are You Lord God Almighty, I exalt Your Holy name. Father, please incline Your ear to me and hear my prayer and supplications. I take the cup of salvation and I call upon Your name; my Lord; my God. Forgive me Father for I have sinned. I have trusted in man and made flesh my strength. I have misplaced my trust, and although I should have trusted in You; I did not. I repent Lord, and I put all my trust in You and You alone. You are my strength, You are my refuge and my strong tower. Forgive me Father and pardon my transgressions; blot out my iniquity. Break the curse of my misplaced trust off of my life and bless me as I put all my trust in You. I put all my faith in You Father, I put all my hope in You. I put all my trust in You. My soul is afflicted, and I need You. Please hold me in the palm of Your hand and create me in a clean heart; renew a steadfast spirit within me. You alone are my strength and into Your hand I commit my spirit; please redeem me O Lord, God of truth. Bless me Father, bless me to be a blessing. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.

Proclaim Psalm 18:2, Jeremiah 29:12, and 1 Chronicles 28:9: The Lord is my Rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the Lord and I pray to Him and He listens to me as I serve Him with a loyal heart and a willing mind.

Blessing: May you seek the Lord with all your heart and may He deliver you from all your affliction. May He redeem you and keep you in perfect peace. May the everlasting love of the Lord overflow into every area of your life and may He bless you to be a blessing.
