“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But, let patience have its perfect work, that you may be PERFECT and COMPLETE, lacking nothing.” James 1:2-4

What you see depends solely on what you are looking for, and if you are facing countless trials and suffering lack; seek Christ, seek His will. Perhaps this trial was not sent to hurt you; but to help stengthen you.

“…We also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the LOVE OF GOD HAS BEEN POURED OUT INTO OUR HEARTS by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Romans 5:3-5

Seek perfection and completeness only in Christ and let Him teach you patience. He will fill you with joy and He will lead you into all understanding and knowledge.

Peter reinforces a Psalm of David in Acts 2:28 so beautifuly when he says of God; “You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of joy in Your presence.”

Heavenly Father,

I rejoice in the hope of Your glory, and I glory in my trials, knowing it produces perseverance, which builds my character and strengthens my hope. Father, Your love is abundant and everlasting and it is Your love that I long for. Only You can provide me with the love and security that I desire and I cry out to You in my time of need. Lord, please show me mercy and fill me with Your supernatural joy and help me overcome the trials that threaten to overwhelm me. With all my heart, it is You that I seek. I seek Your kingdom. I seek Your face. I seek Your righteousness, Your peace, and Your joy in the Holy Spirit. I rebuke, renounce, and reject the spirits of impatience, overwhelm and dread in the name of Jesus. Let my faith be genuine as I give You all the praise, all the honor, and all the glory, being filled with inexpressible joy only found in You. Send to me Your Holy spirit to lead me, to guide me, and to comfort me as I seek You Lord. In the precious and perfect name of Jesus, I pray; Amen.

Proclaim James 1:2-8 and Acts 2:28: I count it all joy when I fall into various trials, knowing the testing of my faith produces patience. I let patience have its perfect work in me that I may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. I ask God for the wisdom He gives so liberally; without reproach and trust that it will be given to me. I ask for wisdom in faith with no doubt that He will give it. I stand firm in Christ. I am a single minded (wo)man, stable in all my ways. He makes known to me the ways of life; He will make me full of joy in His presence.
