“Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults, keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, and I shall be innocent of great transgression.” Psalm 19:12-13
Wrong thoughts cause endless trouble and presumption is a sin, though it isn’t a sin that necessarily leads to death it is like the start of a set of domino’s falling down that can lead us down a path of destruction. We must learn to train our thoughts to think His thoughts. We must think on things that are above and trust that He is working all things out for our good; because He is. When you have a hurtful and wrong thought, replace it with a verse of God’s love. As you love Him, He loves you and as you repeat those truths to yourself; it will start to sink in. “God loves me with an everlasting love and with lovingkindess He draws me near, I am forgiven, I am made clean.” Say it over and over.
The bible tells us: “Finally brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things” Phillipians 4:8
Heavenly Father,You are the creator of the heavens and the earth and You have created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created. It is written to know Your love surpasses knowledge, help me to understand that Your will is good, and acceptable, and perfect and help me to keep my thoughts on the things of above. Let me not be deceived and let me not be snared into thinking wrong thoughts sent by the evil one. Protect my mind Lord, protect my heart. Give to me Your Spirit of truth and help me be secure in Your love, I love You Lord with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind and all my strength, abide in me as I abide in You. In the perfect and precious name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
Proclaim Psalm 19:12-14: Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults, keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, and I shall be innocent of great transgression. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.
May everything you say and everything you think today honor and glorify our God above and His Father.🕊
