21 Prayers for the nation; a prayer for patience.
The end of a thing is better than its beginning; the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.” Ecclesiastes 7:8
Heavenly Father,
You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in mercy, you will not stay angry forever. Thank You for giving Your Son as a living sacrifice to justify, to redeem, and to sanctify me. Jesus, thank You for living a holy life on earth, yet choosing a sinners death to save a sinner like me. I have been such a fool, allowing hastiness and impatience to stir up anger in me. Again, this day, I have erred. I ask You in the precious name of Jesus to forgive me of my hastiness and my impatience and pardon my transgressions Abba, blot out my iniquity. I cast off the spirits of haste, impatience, and anger and I ask You to please fill me with Your holy Spirit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. Please give me eyes to see and ears to hear, and correct me in lovingkindness my Lord. Thank You for Your promises Lord, establish me with Christ and anoint me for Your good works. Seal me and give me the Spirit in my heart as a guarantee, and help me to know in which way I should walk. Restore my soul and lead me in the paths of righteousness for Your namesake. I repent Lord and I thank You that You have been so patient toward me, help me to be patient with others as I seek Your face. I am Your humble servant my Lord and I serve You with all the joy and gladness in my heart. In the precious name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
Proclaim Romans 12:9-12: I let love be without hypocrisy. I abhor what is evil and I cling to what is good. I am kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, I am fervent in spirit as I serve the Lord.
Blessings: May you be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless. May you continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May you give Him all the glory both now and forever.
“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6
