21 prayers for the nation; a prayer for His Holy Spirit.

“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.” Genesis 1:1-2

Heavenly Father,

Since the beginning was You, Your Spirit hovered over the waters, and it was by Your word that all things were created. It is by Your will that we exist, and by Your word that we are blessed. I praise You, I exalt you and I rejoice in Your presence. In the name of Jesus, I lift up our great nation to You and I ask You to bless America Lord, bless our land with a touch of Your Holy Spirit and breathe Your breath on us, bring us back to life. Lead us to everlasting life and fill the whole country with the knowledge of Your glory Father. I thank You for this nation, and for all You have created, and I ask You to bless us with Your Holy Spirit. Let us turn to You with our whole hearts and take away the veil; for where You are, there is freedom. Set us free and never again let us be entangled with a yoke of bondage as we eagerly await for the hope of righteousness by faith. Remove from us all spirits of hate, malice, envy, and jealousy and fill us with love. Fill us with supernatural love in which we love our neighbors as we love ourselves and help us to love from a pure heart, a good conscious and from sincere faith, just as Your word commands. Rejoice over us with singing and fill us with Your Holy Spirit to lead us, to guide us, and to comfort us, as we seek Your face. In the holy, precious, and perfect name of Jesus Christ I pray; Amen.

Proclaim 2 Corinthians 6:16, Isaiah 11:2 and Galatians 5:16: I am the temple of the living God; He dwells in me and walks with me. He is my God and I am His person. The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon me. The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. I walk by the Spirit and I shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
