A prayer for Brotherly Love… Prayer 2 of 21

21 Prayers for the nation; a prayer for a return of brotherly love.

“Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another.” Romans 12:10

Heavenly Father,

The depth of the riches of the Your wisdom and knowledge are beyond understanding. To You be all the glory forever. I seek Your ways and Your judgements and I present my body to You Father, as a living sacrifice; holy and acceptable in an effort to honor and glorify You in all I do. I lift up this great nation to You in prayer Lord, and I ask You to please remove from us the spirit of offense and restore us to a land full of brotherly love. In the name of Jesus, I cast off the spirits of selfishness, self centeredness, spiritual blindness, vanity, ego, pride and offense. I bind Satan and his angels, and I rebuke, renounce, and reject his evil and hateful desires for Your people. I exalt You and pray for Your will to be done on earth just as it is in heaven and declare that today is a turning point which will restore love in all the places it has been removed. Replace my thoughts with Your thoughts Lord and give me a heart for my neighbor, let me see them as You see them; a precious child of God. I pray for the peace of my neighbors Lord, prosper all who love You. I pray that it be for Your glory to soften the hearts of Your people. Give us eyes to see and ears to hear Lord, and restore a mutual respect and loyalty to those both far and near. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray; Amen.

Proclaim Romans 12:2 and John 13:34: I am not conformed to this world, but am transformed by the renewing of my mind, that I may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. I love my neighbor as Jesus has loved me.

Blessings: May you rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation and continue steadfastly in prayer. May you be of the same mind toward others, and bless those who persecute you. May you live peaceably with all men and repay evil with good. May you love others as Jesus loves you.

“Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself; is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails…” 1 Corinthians 4-8
