A prayer for Kindness. Prayer 4 of 21

21 Prayers for the nation; a prayer for kindness.

“That they may set their hope in god, and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments; and may not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God. Psalm 78:7-8

Heavenly Father,

Marvelous things You have done in the sight of our fathers, You divided the sea and led Your people with a cloud by day and a light of fire by night. You split rocks in the wilderness for drink and rained down food from heaven. Mightily, You have performed miracles, signs, and wonders for us to see; to witness; to turn and follow You. You heal. You save. You deliver and yet, we have turned our back time and time again. Deliver us from our lying tongues Father and have compassion on us. Forgive our iniquity and do not destroy us Lord. In the name of Jesus, I cast off the spirits of lying, stubbornness, rebellion, unfaithfulness, deafness, dumbness, and blindness. I decree and declare that we are a generation who sees and who hears, and as You turn Your heart to us, we turn our hearts to You and we will walk in love while yielding and obeying Your word with steadfast and open hearts. Father, kindness starts with me and it is written that You love me with an everlasting love, and with lovingkindness You draw me near; I receive Your lovingkindness and I draw near to You. Please abide in me as I abide in You, and give me a heart for what hurts Yours. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit of love and kindness Lord, and forgive me of my sins. Pardon my transgressions and blot out my iniquity and restore America O God of hosts; cause Your face to shine and we shall be saved. In the perfect name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Proclaim Jeremiah 6:16: I stand in the ways and I see; I ask for the old paths, where the good way is and I walk in it, and I find my rest for my soul.

Blessings: May you turn to the Lord with a faithful and steadfast heart with truth on your tongue and kindness in your soul. May the prayer you pray be heard and may you see Him working in your life in mighty ways. May you have eyes to see and ears to hear, and may He fill you with His Holy Spirit.

“The gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory. You shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord will name. You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of Your God.” Isaiah 62:2-3
