A place of prayer

We are all in this together.

What are you doing?

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the past.” 2 Peter 5:8-9

When we hear something we do not like, we tend to harden our hearts and move forward to something that is more suitable for remaining happy and fulfilled; even if it is only temporary. In the same way, if it is hard, we decide not to do it and don’t. This is a dangerous cycle the evil one thrives on because by not doing the hard things, we become weak and regretful full of shame afraid to lift our eyes to the Maker, in fear of the consequences.

Suddenly, you are someone you do not recognize and you find yourself lost and alone wondering how you got there. It was by comfort and other ungodly ways and the only way out is through… to the other side; with God’s help. Seek forgiveness and move on. Accountability goes a LONG way with the Lord, our God.

Do not overlook the importance of integrity and godly character and do the hard things; for it is in doing the hard things that You will find Him. He is there; in the midst just waiting to give you everything you need to succeed.

Heavenly Father,

To You be the glory and dominion forever and ever, I magnify You alone Elohim, You are Alpha and Omega, the Creator of all things. A good, good Father; You have called me to Your eternal glory by Jesus Christ and I am ready to be perfected, established, strengthened and settled in You. I now see things I could have never seen without the suffering and for that my soul blesses You. My spirit rejoices in You. In all things I resist the devil and his evil spirits Lord and I cast off the spirits of laziness, procrastination, and doubt in the name of Jesus and in the name of Jesus they must flee. I decree and declare that I am a child of God and I as I live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age You shall complete in me what You have started, and I will fulfill the purpose You have placed on my life, Abba. As You continue to lead me and guide me, please fill me with Your Holy Spirit; fill me with wisdom and understanding, counsel and might, knowledge and of the fear of the Lord and anoint me to do Your work Lord. I repent of my sins and ask for Your forgiveness Lord. Blot out my transgressions and pardon my iniquity and help me to honor and glorify You in all I do. Let them see You; in me. In the precious and perfect name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Proclaim Isaiah 11:2: The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon me, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.

Blessings: May you deny all ungodliness and worldly lusts and live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. May He forgive you your sins and give you eyes to see and ears to hear and may the glory of the Lord overflow every area of your life.

“Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” Hebrews 3:15
