“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10

There comes a time when the weight of the world can be so overwhelming that we believe our only relief is to die; and that is what coming to the end of yourself feels like. Have you had thoughts of ending your life? STOP. Close your eyes and speak to the One who is calling your name. He does not want you to die; but instead, He wants you to live and to declare His works.

Your life has purpose. Your mistakes are divine. Your story is going to change the world. He is going to work all things out together for your good. Do not let the devil trap you in wrong thinking and half truths. Do not believe that death is the answer. The answer is indeed death, but it is death of your old ways; of your old self.

Invite God into your situation and ask Him what His will is for your life. Lay down the desire to die and pick up the will to live, and LIVE. Live in such a way that those who knew you yesterday do not recognize you tomorrow. Your new life is just beginning.

Heavenly Father,

I trust in You Lord, with all my heart and I lean not on my own understanding. I invite you into my life and make You my Lord and my Savior. Father, Your word says that You sent Your One and only Son in to the world so that I may have life and have it more abundantly and I am ready to lay down my old life and place all my trust in You. I place all my trust in You Lord; direct my paths and help me to overcome the lies of the evil one; deliver me from the spirit of death, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that I may live and not die; and declare Your wonderful works. I am Yours, save me Lord, hear my cry. Deliver me from all my transgressions; do not make me the reproach of the foolish. You are my God and I will praise You; You are my God and I will exalt You. In the precious and perfect name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Proclaim Psalm 118:17: “I shall not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord.”

Blessings: May the voice of the Lord be louder than the voice of the evil one. May you hear His voice and experience peace that surpasses all understanding. May His love overwhelm you and may you live and declare the works of the Lord.

Isaiah 25:1 tells us “O Lord, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, for You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.” Exalt Him, Praise Him, for He is doing wonderful things in you. His counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
