“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12
Heavenly Father,
Abba, I come to You and I put on my full armor Lord, I surrender every relationship and every hurt to You and I ask You to please give me eyes to see and ears to hear what You are doing through this situation. I seek Your will and it is the desire of my heart to honor and glorify You in every area of my life. This strife and frustration is overwhelming and I do not have the ability to fix this situation on my own. Help me to be the person You need me to be. Help me to see my ex as you see them and help me remain gentle and single minded in all I do. I lift up my ex to You and I ask You to please bless them and keep them. Please make Your face shine upon them and be gracious to them. Please lift up Your countenance upon them and give them peace in the name of Jesus. I bind the spirits of strife, division, and haste and I loosen Your Holy Spirit of peace, unity, and patience. Answer their prayers Lord, and help us both see You in every situation. Let our story become a testimony of Your love, for Your glory. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
Proclaim: “I come to You Lord, and I put on my full armor. I gird my loins with truth and I put on the breastplate of righteousness. I shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, I take the shield of faith which quenches every fiery dart of the wicked one. I take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God and I pray always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit.”
Blessings: May the Lord answer your prayer and may he move in your life, their life, and all those who surround you both. May your prayer become a testimony of love, kindness and goodness. May the glory of the Lord shine upon you as you love your enemies as yourself.
Luke 10:19 tells us: “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
